My mind and brain weren’t connected today. Nearly got into an accident a few times while driving home from work. No major shocks, only God knows the worst I have had in the past. In every close escape, I can’t help but wonder if I would survive if I really got into a major accident. Then I would think that it must be very painful, so that usually ends my train of thoughts.
Nothing much at work today, honestly I don’t really know if I did any work today. While updating a merit for an employee, I realised that his new pay is lower than his current pay, though his target bonus has a huge increase. Without hesistation, I dropped a note to Jitin to clarify before proceeding with the update in the system.
He called a few moment later, and asked where have I gotten the current pay amount, as both himself and Duc is not aware of this amount at all. There was a letter last year March, and he told me to send him the letter together with the email which contains his letter as well.
Turns out the email was sent by Duc to Tricia, and Tricia then sent it to askHR with Jitin in copy.
Seriously??? 囧
I really envy these people sometimes, mostly wondering how they make it so high up cause frankly speaking, I would like them to be my senpai. I am not even half their level currently, and I’m half dying already. And they go home sharp sharp one ok, not even a minute more.
So maybe the moral of the story is, don’t work so hard, go home when you have done your 8 hours and leave early on Friday. Make sense? 😆
