Fitness is Not Just a Goal, It’s a Journey

It’s only the afternoon but it feels like I have gone through one whole day plus overtime.

My arms and boobs were aching after the 100 burpees and 100 sit up last night. Though my body clock is telling me that it’s bed time, I was wide awake. It was raining outside, the air-cond is blasting but I’m feeling hot. I tossed and turned till 1am, and thought I will watch an episode of The Crown, hoping it will make me sleepy. But no... I still couldn’t sleep with sores on my body and it was fucking 2am. Ended up took half Xenax and fell asleep till the morning.

It was still raining in the morning, and the traffic is super fabulous. I seriously don’t understand why people leave such a big gap. Yes, I know it’s raining, but 5 cars gap is a bit too much? I actually got frustrated and overtook that car but purposely make it close to it, I have been tailgating the car for a while. Finally, it moved to the next lane. Seriously people, fast lane is called fast lane for a reason. Dammit. πŸ™„

I lost 2kg. Not sure if it is due to the lost of appetite and the reducing of food portion, or due to the HIIT I have been doing everyday since 2 weeks ago, or both. I actually feel some changes, the bum and legs. This is definitely an achievement for someone who dislikes washing hair. Haha! But honestly, I don’t wash my hair if I didn’t sweat much that day, I just put on dry shampoo the next morning. Heh. 🀫

Looking back at some pictures in the past, I really grew a lot and it will definitely take me time and effort to slim down to the me before. I’m still thinking whether I want to achieve a bikini body, it’s hot but I prefer a more lean, fit body. For now, I’m just ecstatic about the changes I feel and the change that is gonna happen if I keep going. 😎

I also stumbled upon intermittent fasting and going to try this out. So basically there are many ways to do this but I’ll be doing the 16:8/15:9 method. It’s has been proven to work for weight losing, and it has health benefit as well. I have a friend who lost 3.2kg after 6 days! Holyyy! However, the only concern I have is my gastric problem, but I have read that it helps to improve the condition. So I guess I will start off slowly, giving my body more time to get used to it. I initially wanted to try after my April menstrual cycle, but looking at my non-improvement on food appetite and portion, I guess it’s fine for me to start right away.

Can’t wait to do it and pen down my journey! But first, please let me have a good night tonight. 😩

P.S.: Anticipating huge muscle pain tomorrow as well.

P.P.S.: Having a massive headache now. GREAT. πŸ˜‘
