Went to O&G (Obstetrical & Gynaecological) ward today. There is a case which came in yesterday, and I tagged along for the follow-up sessions. While waiting for the nurses to write a new, correct referral form, one of the patient in there is ready to deliver her baby.
And guess what? I get to witness the whole thing, LIVE.
It's my first time seeing a mother giving birth live with my own eyes.
The baby's mother didn't scream, and the baby came out pretty fast. My guess is this baby isn't her first child. I saw the head first, then suddenly the whole baby came out. And the crying... Oh, such a joy!
I get to see how they clean up the baby too. But only halfway, 'cause my referral form was done by then already.
Babies are so cute, so tiny.... My heart just melt at the sight of them and the sound of their crying...
Pretty cool huh? :)
